Diamonds are a girl’s best friend. But when you can’t have real diamonds, this faux fur diamond pillow will be just fine!

I am so darn proud of this design. I was hoping to make something that you could buy in a home goods store and I think that’s what the result is. The best compliment I could get on this one is that it looks bought – not handmade!

The pattern below is written out for the 20″ version. A chart for this 20” pillow as well as a chart for an 18” version are available to purchase on Ravelry and Etsy.

20×20 PILLOW FORM

8 rows x 10 hdc = 4” square
 TIP: measure gauge in Color Made Easy only.
Finished pillow will measure 20”x20”

NOTES

• Starting ch1 in counts does not count as stitch
• Each row will have 52 stitches. Each row outlines stitch counts for each yarn. Fur yarn is in [square brackets] and Color Made Easy (CME) are in no brackets. Ex. [5], 2, [4], 3 would be 5 stitches in fur, then 2 in CME, then 4 in fur, then 3 in CME – for a total of 14.

SEWING IT ALL TOGETHER

Fold the pillow at row 36 with the right sides on the inside.

Whip stitch two sides together.

Turn the case so the right side is out.

Insert pillow form and whip stitch final edge.
